Eine neue Sehne aus Dacron B-50 und mittelalterlich anmutender Knotenwicklung aus Leinenzwirn wurde nötig, da W.D. aus O. gerade einen geschmiedeten Bogen für seine erstklassige Mittelalter-Armbrust anfertigt, um den alten 400# Blattfeder-Bogen zu ersetzen. Hoffen wir, daß am Ende alles so zusammen paßt wie es vorausberechnet wurde. Ich habe die mir vorgegebenen Maße gehalten und bin nun sehr gespannt auf das Ergebnis des Umbaus ... It will be used in an authentic forged steel bow on a highly sophisticated replica crossbow. This particular crossbow already had a 400# steel bow (for which I made the string as well) but that one was cut from a leave spring and will now be replaced. BTW: This string would be good for use in a 1400# bow! There is plenty of savety built in, with modern materials ...
